Anderson and his $19.5 million salary next season will need to be moved to make room for Anthony.

After receiving initial offers in June for less than $1 million annually, Smith and his camp decided to bide their time and wait for a better deal to come along. Smith’s highlight performances in the NBA Summer League catapulted him to his new multi-million dollar contract.

He was one of the most exciting players in Vegas, dunking with little effort during warmups while averaging 17.3 points along with 4.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. He also showed off every bit of his 48-inch vertical with the most impressive missed dunk you’ll ever see. (Via Dallas Mavericks)

Smith previously developed a relationship with Stephen Curry, Under Armour’s leading athlete, at his SC30 camp and was impressive. Now he’ll join Curry on Under Armour’s roster and will be one of their most prominent athletes.

A third team will be necessary to make this trade work, but they’ll want at least one asset, whether it be a first-round pick and/or young player, as a reward for taking on Anderson’s bad contract. The biggest problem for Houston is that it doesn’t have many desirable assets left. The team dealt away its 2018 first-round pick and gave up young prospects in Sam Dekker and Montrezl Harrell to the Clippers as part of the Paul trade.

The bottom line is there aren’t enough young assets to go around to please everyone involved in this trade. That’s why this deal might even need a fourth team, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, to gain any traction.

To shed salary, Anderson and his $19.5 million salary next season will need to be moved to make room for Anthony. But finding a team willing to take on the 29-year-old’s pricy contract over next three years will be hard. His stock isn’t so high as Super Cheap Jerseys an aging one-dimensional player, though he shot 40 The Best Cheap Jerseys percent from three-point range last season.

Reggie Wayne picks a QB other than Luck or Manning as hardest passer

Congratulations are in order for Curtis Painter. On Tuesday, Reggie Wayne gave him an unofficial award that pertains to playing quarterback.

When Wayne was asked about who threw the hardest passes, he didn't name Andrew Luck or Peyton Manning (before his arm stopped functioning like a normal arm last year). He also didn't name Tom Brady, who threw to Wayne this past summer during Patriots training camp. Instead, Wayne chose Curtis Painter.

It's 2016, and we're talking about Curtis Painter.
